The name of Lensgrevindens Serenade Ensemble comes from the orchestra's first performance in the barn to Frederiksdal Castle, on the outskirts
of Copenhagen, where the countess granted us this pompous name. Good, musical friends during many years, the members of this orchestra, now
professional musicians and the best amateurs, are gathered here for our fourth season of chamber music performances in special venues.
I've until now just participated in one set of concerts, where the program required two violins for performing the original chamber arrangement
of Richard Wagner's Siegfried Idyll - musically challenging and a lot of fun. I hope to be invited for something similar in the future.
